Super easy mockingjay pin-the best ever

Hello, everybody!
Today i decided to make a tutorial for Mocking jay pins-you know, from the Hunger Games.
I love that book.
You also need polymer clay, THE BEST QUALITY EVER- but it's a bit pricey.

When you start, the clay (depends what brand) might be a bit crumbly- when me friend and I tried it out, we were like, this was SUPPOSED to be the best quality...yeah. I guess I'll start.
Once your clay is all warmed up and usable, stuff like that,
roll it.
Once rolled, you have to get the ring shape-maybe use a tape roll and stab it through.
take out the ring part.
Print out a right sized mocking jay part, and stick it on newly rolled clay. Cut it out with a craft knife, scissors or use the sharp compass edge to dot out the figure and carefully rip it,
once you cut it out, you may want to etch designs in with a led pencil lightly.
i secured it to the ring, and put a clay strip on the back to make it stronger, so the safety pin won't fall off.
make an arrow
yeah, you can  bake it, stick a pin through it, idk- or brush it off with clear glue or mod podge-even mix 1 part water and 1 part glue to make your own.
yah. that's it:)
my arrow is demented :D

photo didn't come out well.

Harry Potter Potions:

Hello! I guess I'm in the Potter Fever this week- (well, I always am.) So, you know about those Hairy (sorry, Harry) Potter apothecaries? Where they sell unicorn horns, black beetle eyes and et cetera? I made those- potions. Below, you can see them:At the top, there is Gillyweed, Baneberry and Syrup of Hellebore. After that is Dragon Blood, Mistletoe, and Elixir to Induce Euphoria. At the bottom is Unicorn Blood, Mandrake Roots and Felix Felicis. They came out in terrible quality. The best are Gillyweed, Baneberry and Dragon Blood. Since I bet you can't see them well, Gillyweed is green liquid, glittery with stones at the bottom and a type of leaf. Baneberry is red liquid, glittery and with berry looking things at the bottom. Dragon blood is misty, red liquid, glittery with red floating things.Below, here are the recipes (no, potion formulas.) :)Gillyweed:1. Fill half a bottle with clear glue, half with water.2. Using a dry old green marker, colour it!3. Add as much glitter as you desire.4. Drop in a small stone (2), and as much leaves as you want (I used three carnation leaves.)

Baneberry:1. Fill half a bottle with clear glue, half with water.2. Using a dry old red marker, colour it!3. Add a bit of glitter.4. Drop in about seven small balls of red modelling clay.

Dragon Blood:1. Fill a bottle with water.2. Put some white glitter glue (or clear sparkly lip gloss) in.3. Add in red glitter and cinnamon, not as much as Gillyweed but more than Baneberry.4. I dropped in one Cross-linked Polyacriminide crystal as well, but glue (one small bit) would work as well for the misty effect.

Have fun! :) :) :)

These are my modelling clay cakes!:
On the left, there is a rainbow macaron birthday cake-the middle, there is a blueberry filled kiwi layer cake-and the right, a black forest cake.
They did not, however, turn out well at the picture AT ALL-there's nothing I can do about it :(
I can show you how to make these three cakes:
They all are the same: layers, and on the outside they have cream- there is only one different part-
1. The macaron cake has macarons (of course)
2. The kiwi one has, I guess a pie crust, green bobbles and kiwi cream with chopped kiwis
3. The black forest has slivered chocolate, white pie crust, cream and cherries
      ---
Today, I will show you how to make the easiest- rainbow macaron.
I ran out of white clay-my macaron filling might have to be colourful- :(
---
Anyways, my computer video webcam lost connection, I'll show you by photo-

RAINBOW MACARON BIRTHDAY CAKE:
Materials:
Pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white clay
A needle or wooden pointed stick
Scissors or craft knife (really, anything that cuts)

1. Roll equal pieces of clay into balls, then flatten them so all of them are the same size.

Stack them. I guess that's the most straightforward.                2. At this point, use your scissors/ craft knife or whatever you have and cut a wedge out. Slowly, I might add, so it doesn't smudge.
Kind of like that.            3. Then, drape it around your cake (correction, layered circles.) If the width of your pink wrapped strip is not wide enough, get for clay and roll it into a line, then wrap it around.

Flatten the rolled strip, maybe use your needle to scratch lines in like a pie crust.
If you want, you can keep the slice you cut out, or not- if you do, roll the pink clay over it also-for this tutorial, I won't.
4. Maybe a short video won't hurt. I'll try to show you to make the macarons.
Meh. It doesn't.
OK, so, like in the beginning, roll out three MINI balls of clay and flatten them. Your colour choice. Stack them. By the way, you need five macarons, six if you use the extra slice. Then, use your needle and scratch around the top. Place them on your cake.
5. Lastly, scratch designs on your cake. Swirl and dot the inside and outside.

You're done! :)

        Hello!
My name is Anna, and I like to swim, write, and make crafts of all sorts!
This is my first blog-well, second, actually, but that was when I was in Grade 2-I don't exactly count that.
Well, that's all for now :)
